Join us at McNally Jackson, Willimsburg for the New York launch event of Timothy Hampton’s Bob Dylan’s Poetics: How the Songs Work. The evening will feature a presentation of the book, followed by a discussion with the author and Jennifer Croft.
TIMOTHY HAMPTON teaches literature at the University of California, Berkeley, where he also directs the Doreen B. Townsend Center for the Humanities. He has written widely about literature and culture across several languages.
JENNIFER CROFT is the recipient of Fulbright, PEN, Tin House, MacDowell, and National Endowment for the Arts grants and fellowships, as well as the inaugural Michael Henry Heim Prize for Translation. She holds a PhD from Northwestern University and an MFA from the University of Iowa and is a founding editor of The Buenos Aires Review.
